My unnecessary music purchases is shortly followed by my unnecessary lighting purchases and this just moved to the top of the list. It's going to be a total hit with the 1 or 2 people a month we have over to our place.

Looks like just from the site directly but I didn't see anything about international shipments. It's a very basic straight forward site though. But also I didn't do a google search to see if anybody else was selling them.

Also $300 US isn't too shabby considering what some other less controllable lights cost...and 5 meters is a lot of length.

5 meters is a long length (me giggles like a school kid)

Yeah don't fancy the shipping costs tbh. Anything could go wrong and then I am stuck . I may ask the guy what the power requirements are.

Just wanted to add that I generally don't like rope lights because they look like something you'd buy at a novelty shop and are maybe one step above using Christmas tree lights, but this looks like it projects a lot of light and with a little craftsmanship you could hide them behind something without having to look at them directly and it would still have a good effect.
