The knobs are also impossible to do decent filter sweeps with. My suggestion is return or sell the thing and get something that's not so unnecessarily complicated to use. I replaced mine with an XBoard 25, the build quality is a bit lower but I'm still very happy with it.

I've been using mine for about three years now. Never got a blue screen of death. I made my own controller script to use with preset #1. The non Live presets let you use the faster knob settings. The dumped Live presets, 18-20 force you to use the slower knob settings. My loop button isn't working so great anymore, I guess it only has a certain amount of times it could be pushed before it got worn out. I think the keyboard feels really good. I'm sticking with mine since I know it well and I'm a bit poor at the moment to afford a new keyboard.

I think you can change the knob speed on the live channels 18-20, i found out how to do it on youtube a year back.
No blue screen here, but i do regret not buying another controller, dont get me wrong, its a well built unit for the price, but its too chunky for a desktop next to my mac, and its so bloody complicated, i bang my ideas out quicker using the mac alone.

i've had mine for longer than i've had a forum login... its been on two different computers and four fresh installs of the OS. i've never got a blue screen from it.

is this a fresh install of the device? i forget how the install goes on this particular unit, but with many products you need to install the driver first before plugging in the device... with some products its the other way round.
