beginner help for recording audio

Hi,

I just had a question - I'm trying out the lite version and I just recorded myself, trying something out for a project.

I've therefore just discovered that on my lite version I can only have a max of 4 audio tracks and 2 plug-in-effects things.

Is there a way to overdub audio on one track? I've been experimenting a bit, but can't figure it out.

Also I posted a while back as I can't get my tracks to loop (unless I switch on the loop switch for arrangement loop) and my recordings never appear at the bottom of the page in session view.

Sorry for the probable dumb questions, but I have been trying to read on the internet/watch youtube videos, but still stumped so any help is appreciated!

Hi, what you'll want to do here is have a track dedicated to resampling. Record your overdubs on the tracks, then play them back and record to the resampling track, which records everything that you have playing in the set.

To enable resampling on an Audio track, open In/Out view and selected "Resampling" under "Audio From."
