I just installed Live 8.2.1, but when I import tracks into my library it only shows the first 16 bars.
Any clues?

This track is 6:29 long, but it's only reading 16 bars.

its hard to see the text, but i think your tempo is just set too low...
your track is at one tempo and Live is set to another. remember one of Live's strengths, and hugest selling points early on, is its ability to warp audio. in the upper left you have Live's tempo. You could try doubling (if its in the double digits) or halving (if its in the triple digits) as a quick fix... but your sample settings has a spot that tells you the actual tempo of the clip... down there close to the lower left of your screen. Look under the yellow (active) "Warp" button on your Sample settings and you'll see "Seg. BPM" - make sure that and the tempo of your set match in order to get the exact number of bars and beats. Open a new set, change the tempo to match that then import your audio and you should be all set.

That didn't do it...

can you play back the entire track or only 16 bars?
i can figure out if you mean that the display is untruthful or if the track is actually missing everything after the 16th bar.

The track is missing everything after the 16th bar... I've been finding stuff on google that suggests this might be a related iTunes problem

Are you importing the track directly from iTunes? Have you tried importing the track by dragging it in from Finder, or from Live's Browser?

In case anyone was curious... I stripped the id3 tags off of the tracks and they work fine now.
