dear forum members,
i want to achieve the following:
in a live situation i record some guitar chord and quickly loop it. then add some other guitar clips and loop them too. with the lpk25 and lpd8 i add some bass line and some drums. in the end i start recording my voice.
basically i create the whole song on the fly live on stage and want to be able to control all the clips and also add some hall effects to some of the voices. while playing i want to easily be able to change and control with the akais.
my question is how would you setup your working station if you have the akai controllers with a macbook and ableton live? i can map the lpd8 to drum files... the keyboard for the bass lines... but how can i quickly change and jump to another clip and/or stop start them again.
i still need to get them and then will start playing around... hopefully i will be able to figure it out by trial&error - just wanted to get a first idea or a small hint in the right direction... also wanna say hello to the forum.
cheers.
