Skrillex Bass Wobble

Loads of people talking about Skrillex in forums etc about how he gets that wobble bass, so I wondered if I could do it… using just Ableton and the built in synths.
Well here was my lame attempt:
http://goo.gl/WLedu - meh?
Don't get me wrong, I'm not moving into Dubstep, and I'm nothing on Skrillex ! Just curiosity and sound designing nerdyness for me.
Oh and for those who care, it was two instances of Ableton's "Operator" and 32 channels of bussing/re-routing/modulation etc

for those who care...
As a matter of fact, I care.
I'm not moving into Dubstep
So if you are not moving into Dubstep, you might wanna share your nerdy wisdom how you did it

. Please upload the als, as you are not needing it for tech house productions anymore. Thanks!

haha, yep! Well it's work in progress atm, but I'm thinking once I'm happy with it I might just give out the whole Ableton project file.

"Skrillex Bass Wobble"
geez, I knew it will end like that. Everyone suddenly knows that name, loves wobble bass and happens to know the word "dubstep"...
Unison detuning (spread), chorus, erosion, lfo modulated filter cutoff, maybe a vibrato, overdriving etc... Same shit as 10 years ago.

I've been enjoying learning all of these new wobble bass techniques. Dubstep has been getting extremely popular, and I keep hearing pretty cool--albeit minor--changes in the way that people are achieving that sound.
And, on your try, I think it's great! I'm definitely interested in the file here lol

Sounds quite impressive and I would love to see the files, or even a description or screenshots.
That glitched out bass sound championed by Wolfgang originally and now Skrillex, Porter Robinson and some others does not lend itself to reverse-engineering (and saying that it has lfo filtering, overdrive/distortion, chorus and so on isn't enough because it's used in a very precise manner).

Yeah, there are a lot of people going like "lol dubstep bass. so easy. LFO on filter cutoff and you are done!!!!11", but nailing that evil glitchy sound requires far more. I think the OP has got it

Would love to see the project file.

Oh and just as an addition, the reason I tried this dubstep bassline was so that if I could get that right, then I could scale it back and use it in my house stuff like this one:
