Was working on a track and the feedback was pretty much that it was sounding a bit too 80's... not that the 80's matters specifically, but it's supposed to be as epic as possible... so anyways here was my solution

Arpeggiated drum at 1/8...
Duplicated - a bit further in changed rate to 1/16th, added reverb to give it more space (sounds good layered with the 1/8th sample)
For last Bar, duplicated same again and arpeggiated the sample at 1/32nd, with even more reverb to get the wild rush of sound

Drums start at 1:32ish
