MIDI Clock out sync problems

Im using Ableton 8.2
trying to sync a Future-Retro Revolution along with all my other vintage synths.
I keep running into the same problem. When I set Ableton as the master and whatever hardware as the slave it will not sync. No matter what audio/midi parameters are changed in the preferences. Its not that theres latency, the clock is at one speed, and whatever hardware is running faster. If it was just one piece of hardware i would suspect it was the hardware, but this is with everything i use as a MIDI Slave. Whats goin on? thanks!
any ideas?

Are you sure you have the external hardware instrument set to receive a clock signal?

positive. it happens not with just one of my synths, its with all..
the future retro revolution which is my main concern (because its a sequencer) is extremely basic and easy. Its either set to Internal or External. Works one way, not the other.

Hi, you'll want to get in touch with Ableton technical support directly about this:

hi
what helped in my case (im on pc though)
to change the midi driver type to "direct music "in stead of "mme"
cause my evolver(triggered sequences)lost sync all the time
before....
it was a hassle and i m not sure if ableton now thinks about to implement
a stable midiclock for syncing external gear in the futute(i hope)

apparently it something that will not get recognized, because not only have i been waiting for a response from ableton, but the entire internet is littered with forums complaining about this exact topic.
but i talked with a friend who has used this which was designed for this exact purpose.. I HAVE NOT USED THIS! so i cant refer it yet, but I will be calling them to get some more info.
keep you all posted!
