so i was hired to remix a few songs for a video game; bob dylan's masters of war, johnny cash's man in black, and seven seconds' 'we're gonna fight'. they haven't gotten around to releasing a soundtrack yet, so they've given me permission to post streaming versions. here's the dylan remix:

for anyone who has an xbox 360, the game is called crackdown 2 and there are a ton of good artists (both remixes and original tracks) on the soundtrack...the bug, mistabishi, daedelus, etc. good shit, and the game is fun too. enjoy!

Duuuude. That was awesome! Huge Dylan fan, and your remix was dead-on with the spirit of the song.

thanks, man. it's really too bad the soundtrack isn't getting more attention as it's a great concept. they sought out political/protest songs for the remixes to be the soundtrack for the rebel faction in the game. the bug remixed public enemy, king kannibal remixed the damned, etc.

thanks, i did my best to retain the spirit of the original. i didn't speak to him myself, but he had final say and approved the remix and it's use, so he must've liked something about it!
