i was about to buy Kore 2 this week,but i had a feeling i should wait until tonight........
glad i did!

cant wait to use "real effects" like my PSP´s or Uhbik´s directly in Maschine and controlling them via the knobs and displays...

And notice in the screeshot that the sound with Massive on it has a Kore style Page selector for Macro knobs.

Man, Native Instruments are just kicking ass right now with this. I hope there is timestretch for loops coming as well, since that was an even more requested feature.

What Maschine needs now is an accompanying controller as a mixer for extended control. Even though the controller is awesome, you'll now be able to do an entire performance with Maschine, but some more controls would be useful for full performances.

Was going to buy the Maschine anyway in a few days, but this makes me even more certain that the money will be well spent. Loving it

+1 on timestretch, but i am 100% sure they will bring it sooner or later - maybe even before 1.6 ?!

Looks like Maschine will be the first bit of kit I sold and then re-bought.

Well on the other hand if it doesn't have timestretch, you could just load Kontakt or something.

now,if Maschine 1.6 brings full VST/AU automation in its sequencer,it will be even more fantastic!

The implications of this just keep popping up in my head. Now like drum racks, use any sound source as a drum pad, yet now be able to sequence pitch by playing it too. Also, think of how easy it will be now to resample loops or drum hits from synths right in place.

... and it's now a pretty powerful standalone app, which unlike Live, can record all movements of parameter tweaks and undo them and do everything from the controller. For once it is sort of a viable Live alternative. Although I still like the Maschine inside Live combo. Although I'll no longer have any need for sending Maschine tracks to different output tracks since any plug-in effects can be loaded within it. Effectrix inside Maschine here we come...

I hope they added file browser functionality to the controller. And a timeline cursor to the waveform display.

i don't have maschine so i don't quite understand.
why do you NEED to have your VST in it?
macro controls automap? you can have it with virtually every controller in live...
