3rd party, non-ableton .wav "packs"

So, I'd like to purchase some sounds from a 3rd party vendor (loopmasters), but the sounds I want to purchase (indian tabla, harmonium, etc), are not in .asd format, they are a .wav format. Intuitively, I think I can make these files "work", but I don't want to be up all night picking and choosing sounds from the finder. If you have experience importing .wav packs that aren't officially labeled ableton live packs, please relay your experience importing these sounds. My understanding is that the .wav packs aren't immediately warp friendly. Still though, how hard is it having these sounds appear in your live library? Thank you in advance.

PS:I am new to this world, so please be kind. I tried a search for 10 minutes, but didn't find an exact answer to my question.

Just save your WAV files in your HD then look them up with the A-Live file browser, then drag and drop. You can save your WAVs externally or on a dvd, just make sure that if you use externally saved WAVs to choose "collect all and save" from the the File menu - rather than just saving normally.

I always drop samples libraries into Live's library, under Samples in a new folder to keep everything organized. It's very easy to access everything you need, but as mentioned you might have to do some tweaking with the warp markers.

Still, Loopmasters is usually good about carrying lots of "Live Ready" content, so hopefully whatever you purchase really is Live ready!

I started doin .WAV file releases in Ableton format on http://www.diarec.com
but after 700 downloads and no feedback I am just working on my own projects
as what I put up is probly too average to bother.

Unfortunately with my production in ableton ...
Its been crashing still and sending in bug reports hasnt helped my situation (that Im aware of).
