The Problem is: I start Cubase as ReWire master, start the tracks for ReWire and when start Live 8.2.1 the system does not respond. Live just does not run as ReWire slave of Cubase 5. I'm having to many problems with this piece of..... software.
Help me please.

You're starting Cubase first? Do you see any options in Cubase for routing Live in?

Yes, as ReWire demands, I'm starting Cubase first, then I activate the ReWire tracks for Live, then when I try to start Live, Live crashes it stucks. I've try with Live 8.0; 8.0.1; 8.1; 8.2.1 and 8.2.2b1 and there's no way. I've send the crash reports to Ableton but it doesn't help. So please help me, as you can see I have serious peoblem with MIDI also so...

Have you tried starting Live first, before enabling the ReWire input tracks in Cubase? You'll want to have both programs open before you start doing the routing in Cubase.

David, does this applay to Cubase-6 and ABleton 8.2.2 too?

I have Windows 7 64bit but run all software in 32bit.

In my case I can load both pieces of software wired up (obviously?) but when I load a project in Cubase, after loading the one in Ableton, it crashes Cubase. Afterwards I have to kill both or reboot.

Cubase 6 and Live 8.2 here........ PC Windows 7 32 bit

I can open Cubase and Live....... then enable the input in Cubase. No problem s with that.

As soon as I try to put a clip into Live, I get a "out of memory" error and Live crashes. I have 24 gb in my PC, no memory issues.

If I open Live as standalone, it behaves correctly....... no problems.

Rewire Issue??
