fire 2 systems with one LaunchPad

Has anyone found a way to trigger 2 systems on 2 Macs with one LaunchPad.?
Main and BackUp.

I can only imagine this could work with OSX's MIDI-over-Ethernet and by creating a seperate MIDI-Track in Ableton routing all the MIDI-Signals coming from the Launchpad over the Ethernet-MIDI-Port to the 2nd System (with the Launchpad-Surface-Script I/Os configured to the incoming Ethernet-Ports).
