Can anyone compare the difference between the sennheiser HD25's MK2 - C's and the HD280's in terms of noise attenuation. Apparently the hd280's block out noise as much as 32db. Does anyone know the spec for the HD25's or can compare?
trying to escape external sounds and lose my self in some cans
Many Thanks,

HD280's owned here;
Can't here anything from the surrounding environment; TV, wife, kids. TV has to be on well loud to make me look up!
Great!
Bass is a little understated though, so need to allow for it...
Comfy but look like 1970's rejects. Especially the silver ones I have!
Make your ears sweat on long sessions too...
Had mine for about 4 years now, still solid.

x2, hd280s rule, about a $100, they are aver the ear headphones, cover your entire ears. Bass is def a little understated. Still a great set though.

Prolly a good job as you can get some mad tinnitus wearing them for 5 hours straight! Not recommended!
