Mointor question. Do I really need 8" speakers?

or will 6" do fine, since im basically in my bedroom. And I plan on getting a sub soon anyways.

The real answer:
5, 6, 8, 5 + sub, etc. A good set of monitors that you learn the sound of is what will give you the most mileage, especially if you treat you room. FWIW: I went from KRK 5's + a 10" sub to Dynaudio BM6a's (6" speakers) and I couldnt be happier.

Yo, just got myself some krk vxt6's and I have a fairly big room. the sound is plentiful for what I need them for. Enough bass to make some minimal/tech house. near field monitors are designed to be close to your monitoring position.
what ones you after?

comes with the room correction stuff which i def need. Im sure its not a 100% fix, but better than nothing. I can treat my room at the moment.
