VST instruments in OS X

It would be nice if Live had the ability to use VSTi in OS X. I'd really like to use Green Oak's OS X VST version of Crystal, but I don't know of any audio app in OS X that supports VSTi. Having OS X VSTi and AU support in Live would be great.

the real question is can ableton please support core-audio and midi to allow AU instruments/ other things to be played in a separate hosting app and then routed into LIVE.

There is a hosting app for 10.2 now available as a beta, and a few synths just becoming available in that format. i believe it will support vstis soon as well, i will have to get back to you guys on that.

Please support VSTi and maybe also DXi. This is a must for any live package. Already many people I know of are looking at ways to switch over to using a computer onstage for live performances.
