Kinda like that VST program that allows you to control a sequencer on one computer, and insturments on another. Excpet with rewire.

And, does anyone know if that thing works with live?

I don't think the Rewire protocol supports LAN connections, so that's not a Live question, it's a Rewire question, and thus completely up to Propellerheads.
