Reggae loops?

Does anyone know where to get the best quality Roots loop collection? I'm wary to spend too little on ebay for something, but I'm also wary to spend to much at a music store. Anyone have an opinion? I'm thinking Agustus Pablo, Wailers, Burning Spear. Not dancehall. Thanks.

Your best bet is:
Apple Loops Roots+Raw Reggae (PowerFx), nice collection of 530mb Bass, Guitar,
Clavinet (which are a bit too raw for me), Drums and Percussion
without lots of added effects, check out the demo at
http://www.timespace.com

Worth a bet:
Reggae One Way (DiscoverSounds)

Not a very good bet at all:
Dread the Reggae Collection (Big Fish Audio) has lots of effect added to most of the loops,
which makes them less useful in my opinion.

About as much use as a one legged pit pony:
Dub Basis (Big Fish Audio) a very poor collection – waste of money.

Thanks, the demo sounds great. I'm still holding out a bit, Apple Loops work fine in Live but may be an issue in other hosts. I'm also looking for the lowest price, so far the lowest is US $30 from datavis.com. If anyone knows a better place to get the loops, let me know.

I still haven't made up my mind though, but that does sound very roots.

Will this disk work with PC or is it Mac only?

I'm not sure about the installer, if there is one, but I use Apple Loops on my PC and Mac in Live without any problems.
