Recommendations please - what you believe to be the best and most cutting edge producers and tracks in the area of progressive house, tech house, minimal & psy trance.

I have a big project on where I need to make some pumping, uplifting, edgy & modern tracks in the above listed styles, can you recommend any stuff I could use for inspiration?

All my source stuff is a bit dated now and I haven't hit the clubs in a few years.

I would be most grateful for any advice.

For progressive id say: EDX, Thomas Gold, Micheal Woods, Jarome Isma-ae are a good start as they seem to be have a good run at the moment. Oh and Mark Knight foe tech house and progressive

where do u live?

get some prime loops mix injections sample packs if you're still stuck man. Some great material to fill some minutes of your mix up with some of your own creative material.

dig through beatport.

best Psy and minimal festival ever. sadly it's every 2 years so next round is 2012,
this year it's parabello brazil that worth or ozora in east countries. but there are lot of smaller events locally.

im more in psy than house, but i would recommand ya to check swiss and germany sound having great prog artists with cutting edge science (a bit mellow for me) but Neelix, dickster, felguk, Avalon for exemplenhave really clean and edgy loud sound.
im more in dark psy, like french producer phatmatix, more underground core stuff, but very high quality. phonic request too.
brasillian psy smoother high quality fullon: burn in noise, cosmotech, crystall. in fullon Ajja too, ital, man machine.
but probably too speed for clubs.

for slower stuff listen to Wrecked Machines - Fuck Me Im Famous, and neelix "under control" album ... it shows how psy can sound as/more than some shitty heavy produced commercial house and would merit to be more played in "clubs" imo.
