I cannot remember whether or not I had to purchase Operator back in the day.

I just upgraded from 7 to 8 and I don't see it in the instruments browser anymore.
However, I do see that an Operator live pack was installed, which leads to my confusion.

Hi Gaubie, Operator is available either as a separate purchase or as part of Ableton Suite. If you don't have either of these, then you'll still get the locked racks that contain Operator which come with Live. These are preset racks which contain instances of Operator, which you can use but cannot open or edit beyond the macro controls.

When is Operator getting a discount ?

ok let me get this straight. Even tho I purchased operator back since I had Live 5, I now need to repurchase?

Yes I did purchase Operator with Live 5.
No the liscense does not show when I log in. It only shows for my recent download of 8.
Yes I have been corresponding with tech, thanks again.

Problem has been resolved

Support was able to go back and find my Operator serial and placed it back into my account. I simply need to re-authorize.
