For me:
- When I had girlfriend:
1) Sex
2) Internet

- Now I'm f$%@ alone:
1) Migraine
2) Internet
3) FIFA

Note that the best cure for migraines is definitely sex! (Damn I urgently need gf!)

Yepp. Facebook and this Ableton forum are the most waste of time for me :)

Same with me. Television is a waste of time.

Yes the internet is a distraction, the way it's best used for me is to calm the fuck down after some software BS trashes something I'm writing, or I get sick of navigating the GUI of Live, DP, Logic etc. Mostly it's useful though at times I wonder how useful? Been trading reading tech manuals on software for internet browsing lately, feels like progress.

Yes girlfriends are a distraction, particularly if they're not that interested in your music, made me realize my whole 'get women outside the music scene' approach is counter productive.

Unless your as lucky as me. My girlfriend has a life of her own and is totally supportive of what I do. And she could care less for any of the stuff that I create. Keep in mind that it took many tryouts to find this one though. I'm not sure if they still make this model :P

LOL, same here. Must be kind of rare prototype. Still not released to the public. :)

Hm. My girl is totally into the music and will leave me alone if I tell her I'm getting on the buttons. That model also works : )

When I work on my music, I think of all the cool stuff I could be doing right now instead of sitting here.
When I dont work on my music, I think of all the cool music I could be making right now.

The never ending cycle.............................!

My family mean well and I love them dearly but they have no concept of the term 'breaking my flow'.

I've tried explaining but the wife's idea of creativity is The Sims.

So, once in a while I'll stay up till 5am making tunes in-hindered.

I know damn well though that if I was single I'd prolly be out on the razz and chasing tail when I should be composing at home!

It's a vicious circle and no mistake!

TV was always the biggest one so i turned off the cable... but i got netflix instead.. but that was a bigger mistake..

1. netflix instant video streaming
a. Lost series.. all seasons are available instantly and I just finished season 1..
b. 24 series.. all seasons available also... finished season 1..
