Do an apple search for the absynth vst plugin
the vst directory for the postion of the absynth VST plugin (not Au) should be
main hardrive for osx
then go to libary
then got to Audio
then got to plugins
then got to vst
Place the Absynth plugin in vst folder
as below
i really dont know why it wouldnt have installed the plugins in the correct place to begin with but perhaps this will get you up and running for the meantime.
i am also runnign 10.3.7 and updated to absynth 3 from 2 on friday and it went perfectly.
Mail native instruments if its not hapennin

Did u reinstall absynth from the cd or did u do one of those mac osx firewire data transfer setups ( cant remember the name) where it dumps all the settings and data from your old mac hardrive onto your new hardrive ?
