All of my music skips in ableton and all my samples and instruments do too!
I just got ableton live lite 8 for the Akai.
I downloaded any drivers that were available from windows. I dont know of any more that are needed for ableton.

I would like make dj mixes but all my music skips.
I have a gateway laptop wth 4g Ram and 500g memory.

Can someone help me?

Just my laptop... But when I hook it up to speakers I hook it up threw my MAudio Xponent into my speakers.
I have a 64 bit pc laptop. 4g of ram. 500 gigs memory.
Do you think my sound card is not good enough?

Are you using it in ASIO mode? What is your latency setting?
