Help! Live 7 - Controller data lost after SoundToys upgrade

I have a very esoteric problem. I have a bunch of songs in Live 7 that I've used Soundtoys version 3 plugins on. These songs have controller data controlling various parameters of the Soundtoys plugins.
When I upgraded to Soundtoys version 4 and opened these songs, the automation data is gone. Anyone else experienced this? Is there a solution?
