Could you explain what you did a little further? What specifically did you drag outside of live - a clip?

Wish I could drag mastering out of Live Side-chaining too!

you lost the rack itself? Or just the rack in the set?

i lost the entire mastering device within the audio effect rack.

still have audio effect rack it is missing mastering though. ha.

Long work around would be to reinstall Live, it'll reinstall all the presets as well.

You probably just dragged it into another folder and didn't delete it. Check the folders around where it usually is located.

repair library might work. mastering isn't a device, it's a directory of effects racks.
try searching for 'mastering'. maybe on the HD itself since live's search is so slow.

Thanks this helped! Re-installed Live and repaired library. Dont know which did the trick but its back.
