I have tried to install Nomad Factory's Bundle - Blue tubes VST Collection (ver3/64bit) on my PC running windows7. It is an admittedly unique & tedious bundle to install requiring activations & authorazations but i think i am doing it correctly. When I am done with the install and launch Ableton Live (ver 8.2.1)- i see that Live scans for VST's in the lower left corner of the window and...(drum roll)... all the names of the Nomad Factory VST's zip by (i always get excited at this point) but ultimately, the plug-ins wont show up in Live's plug-in devices window anywhere.?.?

I have tried rescanning in the preferences of live and even going straight into my VST parent folder copying and pasting the Nomad Factory vst .dll's in a number of different folders and sub folders which exist, hit 'rescan', and nothing changes. Yep, this where all the rest of my 3rd party plug-ins reside...and SHOW UP in Live! ...why not the Nomad VST's?
any tips would be great.

I had exactly the same problem - though with other 3rd party plugins, but your advice worked like a charm, ShelLuser. Thanks a bunch!

So are you saying that these are the 64 bit versions of the plug-ins? Ableton Live only works with 32bit plug-ins even though you're running 64bit Win7.

Doh! I eventually figured that out and was quietly hoping for the last several months that no one would notice my blunder! the 32 bit install works great!

in the end though, the victory wasn't quite as sweet as i'd hoped.

so far, their take on the pultec eq and magnetic are the best things they have going. i know this sounds silly but as i drooled over the gui's and all the knobs and meters i had high, high hopes on the Nomad compressors (and there are a ton!) - in the end, as much as i tried to dial in compression that sounded good to me, i had to come to terms with the fact that they are not my cup of tea at all - and the clipper that they seem to stick on everything uses the same limiting programming - thankfully you can flip a virtual toggle and take it off.
