Hi I only got live 4 yesterday with my new ibook and edirol ur 80 interface/controller. I am having difficulties making live respond to the midi controls. I have installed everything properly and live flashes in the top right hand corner to show it can see the midi signal from the ur 80.

However it does not flash in between the midi and key buttons where it should if it is receiving a remote control midi signal. I have followed the manual as to how to select the midi controller and everything but I just cannot see where I have gone wrong!

Can someone please help!?

i use the ur 80 regulary ,i would recomend you to set up the controlers to a new user bank ,then once it's done select in the preference tab the midi device (edirol ur80) if you use the controls of the ur80 or (edirol ur80 midi) if you use the midi port of the ur80 .
then assign the controls to live .
if you had troubles to instal it or had an other usb controler before instaling the edirol you might face some driver conflicts &you might have to delete some ghost devices & reinstal the device after ,i had this problem when i instaled it first ,i contacted edirol & they explained me what to do ,they send me some kind of shortcut to find the ghost devices .
edirol support is very good & fast, try to contact them if you still cannot work it out .
