a quick question...

I'm looking to buy T Racks for mastering, does anyone know the main differences between T Racks Standard, T Rack Deluxe and T Rack Deluxe Crossgrade? If there aren't important differences and can do good mastering in Standard then I will probs just go for that, but I'm keen to know if the Deluxe version will make a big difference?

Thanks in advance

T-Racks Standard includes the classic devices only so you cant do that much, as the most powerful devices are not included.

Of-course its all about personal taste but

the powerful emulations (pultec & fairchild) not in
the super clean devices (opto comp, LP EQ, BW limiter) not in

imo for a good mastering (ok, say home mastering) you need at least a set of clean devices and one more for adding a nice color into your mix.

The classic series are not bad at all but not close to 670/1A

I think the deluxe pack is a nice value for money for the amount of the devices you are getting.

The classic clipper saturate nice and can easily give a lot of db without f... everything
The classic eq also is not bad. it has its own color
Classic comp has a nice sidechain & stereo spread feature that cant be found to an other device.
about multi-band limiter dont know (never test it)
