in scene mode.

is there a way for when i record a scene it knows to record lets say 4 bars without having to punch in and out of record (clip launch) ??

You could set the clip up before hand and make it empty yet 4 bars long?

you can set global quantization to 4 bars and double-trigger it.

what do you mean by "double triggering" it?

and Cezband, im aware you can setup and empty clip with midi... can you do the same with audio??

trigger a scene once, it starts recording. while it records, trigger it again. It will reproduce/loop after 4 bars have been recorded - if global quantize is set to 4 bars.
