I don't know how the effect is called and i am trying out quite randomly the effect rack on some synthesizers on ableton. But i got quite frustrated so i am asking this here.
I want to change the velocity. So that i can fasten the sound towards the end or slowing it down. Where is that on ABleton?

Was that supposed to make sense? Try warping it?

are you on about release and sustain on the ADSR envelope?

@seattletruth: how does warping help me there? On every synthesizer there is that function. It is not that difficult to get what i mean. look you play some chord on a synthesizer and than you want it to "drift towards infinity" (visually spoken) so you turn one of the knobs right way or left way so they make this effect where the tone gets as slow as possible or as fast as possible.
is it changing the frequency? i don't know, i am asking, you don't get me further with asking just more.

instead of the mixer i take one underneath the configuration of a synthesizer. i chose the "ambient hold and dream". there are lote of configuartions like tone osc glide ect. .

so i try to choose one of tem with whoch i think it might work and change the percentage or decay time of it towards the end of the sound.
I tried probably each of the 50 or what configurations but it doesn't help. I tried now sustain. that helps it get a little towards it.
Is there something in the effect rack with which i might be able to do it?

I'm having real problems understanding what you are talking about, but I'm wondering if you either mean and LFO or an unsynced delay changing time settings?

Must be one of those problems where the answer is in the correct description of what are trying to you

Maybe you can link to an example of a song that does this, whatever "this" is.

I am pretty sure he is talking about the release time of the envelope.

If the sound you are talking about comes from a synthesizer, try adjusting the release. If it's a sample, however, it's not that easy. You can add a "tail" by adding some reverb or delay (turn up the feedback), but that may change the overall sound in an unwanted direction.

The only things I can think of to make a song sound like it's getting further away is to ramp up the reverb level/decay on everything, increase the release/attack on synths and lower the volume gradually. High frequencies travel a shorter distance than lows, so you can also gradually lower the highs.

I think it's a mix of reverb and delay feedback !!!

Seems like no one understands what you want exactly, me either.
However "Fade to Gray" can be good starting point (audio FX > audio fx rack > performance & DJ )
