Disdain for Intellectuals and the Arts
Fascist nations tend to promote and tolerate open hostility to higher education, and academia. It is not uncommon for professors and other academics to be censored or even arrested. Free expression in the arts is openly attacked, and governments often refuse to fund the arts.

The last time I checked we are making plenty of noise in the US and I would not want the fucking goverments money to support my art (if that is what we are calling it ) anyways.

Bush and Cheney need to be impeached.
To all the europeans on this board that think of americans as wasteful, stupid and evil, please remember that 50 percent of us STRONGLY disagree with Bush's policies and are embarrassed at what America has become.. Please rememeber that.
Also, feel free to help us change things over here, its a very rough fight at the moment.. The democrats and independents -aka- "blue-staters" can use all the help they can get, be it through the arts or other channels..

The problem is that either party is a bunch of liars and cheats. I doubt either canidate would have made a difference in the state of affairs at the moment. And, yeah I am an American and I do not like the shit either but at least we can still rock with the Live and make some noise about it.
End of political discussions on the Ableton board please. Especially ones that encite hate. We need to work on the solutions not propagating more BS. IMHO
