No, unfortunately, you have to create as many impulse and simpler tracks as you're going to need changes for in that two hour midi set you want to create. Or you're going to have to do it by hand.

can't understand that, because program changes work with external equipment ... :?:

Yes, I know, nor me. Preset changes also work with other softsynths that support them, it's a good clean method of switching too.

Don't you get glitches in the audio when changing patches?

It must be because of the system that the programmers choosed to menage the programs for this intruments :
there are two kind of presets the factory and the user.
Factory prestes are saved in the folder preset within the program folder.
The user preset are saved in a folder of windows called application datas, they are not stored as program on a bank on the impulse or simpler...

THIS IS A THING THAT HAS TO BE UPDATED !!!
cause this is not an acceptable behave for a good machine like this, the composition possibilities are limited to the power of your pc, and the dimension of your screen, cause we are obliged to open as much simpler as differt sound that we want to use.... thing that transform our great sequencer in a cheap seq like fruity loops!!!!

Yea, this has to be done.
It's quite strange now when you change preset for Simpler while recording in arrangement: The settings for the presets get automated but the sample used in simpler stays the same. Experimental that could get you going with different settings but sure annoying at times.
