Major Latency Issue on Live 8.2

Post by toneklang » Fri Feb 18, 2011 6:18 pm

Hi Abes

I'm having major issues with latency in live since version 8. I've been reading around the forum and tried everything. Setting down the buffer sample to almost nothing (crackling like h...) and upping the in/out samplerate to 96.000 saving and downing to 44.000, still nothing. All the time Live records my input with almost a 16th note in 120 bpm. I tried with my coreaudion mic input, with my Projectmix I/O and with my firewire 410, but the problem is the same everywhere. I even tried with Soundflower and making my own soundmodule in the sound settings of Mac OS.

Note, that I have no latency problems with Logic, Renoise, Reaktor or Max/MSP. This is becomming a really anoying problem for performance for me. Does anyone have a clue what I can do, I've exausted all to my knowlegde solutions.

I'm running Mac OSX 10.5.8, Live 8.2 on a MacBook Pro 2.53 Ghz Core 2 Duo. 4 GB 1067 MHz DDR3 Ram.

Thanks for any suggestions.

"All the time Live records my input with almost a 16th note in 120 bpm."

+ Meant to say: It records with a 16th note delay in bpm 120.
