...in the same design as LIVE. The sister-program of LIVE!

LIVE has a unique GUI and it's very own way of arranging audio; why not doing the same trick on a new, simple'n easy MIDI-Sequencer?

To keep it seperate from LIVE would also make purchasing easier than to pack everything in one program!

What features must a new MIDI-program have, to make sense?

- Automatic rewire-function with LIVE.
- VSTi / Effects / good mixer
- big, simple programming interface maybe with programming tools like styles...

- ..... to be continued please!

This sounds like a much better way of dealing with the MIDI and VST instrument issues to me. Live has proven to be such a ideal way for me to deal with audio, I get seriously worried about MIDI entering the equation and bogging things down. Seriously, name one other sequencing app that offers the real time / drag and drop functionality Live does, and offers full on MIDI editing....

Yes.

Better genuinely re-inventing a MIDI environment and further destincting (engl.? ) from Cubase than overloading an already perfect thing!

( Ableton-guys proved they can do it for an audio-environment, and they were doing extensive research for that purpose!)

LIVE is so simple to use from the very first try.
Simple is good!

I wish for a new-invented MIDI application.
