yeah the iPad 3 with high rez display and an optional quad-core processor running Live is all I need to ditch my laptop for on-the-go composing. Apple and Ableton, please make it so...!

+1 to be able to continue working on music while on the move is exactly what i'm looking for.

Could be helpful to work on projects when sitting in a waiting room and then take them to the next level at home!^^

I don't know about on an iphone too small of a screen, but an ipad would be legit. There are other DAWs on the ipad you can get but they are kinda lame..
