Hi, I made my menu bar go away with the View menu. Now I can't get it back. Help please.

hit the arrow on the bottom right of the screen and it will go back from fullscreen mode.. i think you also can hit F11?

Thanks, but nope, it doesn't come back. I've tried every arrow on the screen and the menu bar won't return. Shutting down and restarting doesn't work either, it's just gone. I don't see any keyboard command for this either in the manual.

if youre on a mac try throwing away your preferences. if youre on a pc try this site: www.macmall.com

more specific....

throw out the "ableton" preferences folder

macintosh hd / users / home(whatever you call it) / library / preferences / ableton folder(throw this out)

Thank you michaellacy and others who tried (F11 key didn't work). Throwing out the preferences worked and I have my menu back. Much appreciation. Glenn

Am trying to find out the opposite, i know that if i hit Control+F11 i exit full screen mode than i can hit collect all and save, my problem is having the menu bar and Doc muenu showing up while am in full screen, i don't want nothing to interrup me. Somebody with the right answer help please.

i tried f11 and then found on my M1 Sequoia I had to press the fn key also
i.e press fn + option + F11
