my guitar rig vst stopped working

I've been using guitar rig vst on a lot of my recordings. Suddenly it just stopped working. All the songs I've recorded with it still work thank god. But any new songs I drag it into don't. It comes up but I can't press any buttons on it or change settings. Anybody got any help. Should I try reloading it? Will I loose any of the sounds I used it for recording my other song!
