Ableton Forum

I'm trying the Ableton 8 demo -- determined to like it -- and what I find frustrating is that the knobs and sliders seem very un-predictable. When using my mouse they seem to jump and lurch with little relation to what I am doing. I'm coming from Logic 8, and I realize I'm not use to Ableton, but I've spent time trying to see if I can get better at using the knobs etc. in Live to no avail. Is there something that can remedy this or help me understand how to use the controls in Ableton better?

make sure you don't have some kind of midi feedback going on.

I'm not sure what you mean by this... but even without any controller attached this is happening for me. Could you explain? Thank you!
