buttons trigger clips AND scroll through set like an 'apc'

Hi all!
Is this the right place for technique questions?
I've been trying real hard to find the answer but I can't figure out the wording of the question..
I'm brand new to these forums, and very thankful for any help!
I've bought an APC20 and am waiting for it to come by mail... but I'm too excited to wait for all the beat jugglin goodness.
Is there a way I can set the buttons on my MIDI piano to trigger clips AND use something to have the assignments scroll though all my clips loaded below the one I assigned? This is hard for me to describe..
Example, I have 8 drum pads on my keyboard and I have 64 clips in my set. I want to have the drum pads trigger the first 8 clips, then by pressing a button or turning a knob I want the same 8 buttons to be re-assigned to the next 8 clips. Then the next 8 clips, ect..
I know it would be easier to just wait for the APC to come but... rrr. And I could show my friends how to do it without having to buy the hardware.
THANKS again for any help!

Edit: Oooh.. would I need to have / make a 'remote script w/t redbox' for my particular midi piano setup?
I hope I didn't just answer my own question..
