Custom Programming in Ableton

So I've been trying to search for a way to run small custom scripts a long with ableton, but haven't had a whole lot of luck finding exactly what I'm looking for. I have read about the UserConfiguration.txt text file that can allow automatic mapping for MIDIs, but, still, not exactly what I'm trying to do.

Basically I have my set i perform live set up in the arrangement view. For each song, I have anywhere between 3-6 tracks, one track is the master audio with the melodies stripped out, and the rest are either Audio or MIDI input that I play live via my synthesizers. I have the beginning location of each song marked with a custom key map, so when I hit the number 4 on my computers keyboard, the cursor in arrangement view jumps to my 4th song. What I want to do is add some additional functionality to when I press the number 4 on my keyboard. Ideally, when I push 4 on my keyboard, not only would it move the cursor to the beginning of the song, but it would also arm each of the tracks I play along with this song. This would save time for me live as far as fooling with the computer/APC to arm tracks and what not.

So is there some sort of 3rd party software, or a way in Ableton to use some sort of script that I could use to create custom controls for my live set?

Um I'm not sure why you need a script. You can key-map the track arm for all of those tracks also to the number 4, can you not?

Haha, wow...DUH! This is such an easy solution. I was trying to complicate things much more than they needed to be. Thanks for your response.
