Im sorry let me explain a little better,
Im using ableton as a few sets of decks and as a mixer, with a apc40,
Im using creative xfi sound card, a rear channel is being used for the cue output to my headphones
how do i setup a mic, so that i can put to talk either directly to winamp when im brodcasting live?
Or is it eazyer to plug the mic directtly in to the apc40 and then config that, via input and output
I have a hard time keeping control of inputs and outputs, as i dont play games anymore on this computer because ever update it changes settings and then i have issues with my cue to the headphones
i thin i have figure most of my stuff out... I just want to plug the mic directly to the apc

I recall having a headache trying to run Live into a Shoutcast server a few years ago (was going to do similar things, using Live to do streamed mixing).

One thing is certain, though: the APC doesn't have any audio inputs, so there's no use plugging a mic into the footswitch inputs on the back. I mean, really, where do you think you'd plug a mic into the APC?
