Oregon users?

I'm from the 541 here. A not so well known hub for musicians, but dreadfully lacking of laptop musicians, and absolutely flooded with quick-start DJ's spinning beatport loops. Anyone interested in getting a Live group together? Learn different ways to use Live, sampling methods, work-flow techniques.... spread a little controllerism love?
Portland is far away, and I'd be nervous carrying around a backpack full of equipment down the street.
Eugene anybody?

Seattle here, but I visit Eugene quite a bit. Got to still be a brutally small electronic music scene there, was when I as there as a kid. I knew the 8 people who owned synths in town.

Its not only that it's brutally small, its that everyone and their mother is a "DJ" now, who slap together a couple of decks and downloadable rave tracks and call themselves musicians. Its hard to get a leg up if you creat your own music. There are a few good DJ's in town, but the line between DJ and glorified radio player has really gotten muddied.

I'm in Eugene. Know one other live user that I used to work with. What do you have in mind?

Anything really. Swapping racks, jam sessions, online collab, some friendly constructive criticism. I'm just interested in seeing how other people use Live, music genre doesn't really matter. If awesome music can be made together along the way, sounds like a good time to me.
New track up on Soundcloud. Give you an idea of my sound.
