Help! Can't clear midi controls, pitch bend controls faders!

Hi there,
running Live 8.2.1.
I have an Oberheim MC1000 Midi Master Keyboard which is hooked up to my MacPro through an USB Uno Midi device. SoundCard is Focsurite 24dsp.
Now, problem is simple:
- When i move my pitch bend wheel on the keyboard, it controls the volume fader of Live's Mixer second track. The instant i touch it, the fader starts moving. I can't seem to figure out how to clear this control. The midi mapping mode shows no controls assigned to whatsoever. It's like if somehow Live knows that when recieving that cerain Midi CC input it has to move the volume fader of Track #2, but i've never assigned it, and i can't find a way to clear it! Any help?

Besides, i have yet another problem. For reasons above my understanding, i can't seem to hear my Master Chain track unless i set it to "in" in the monitoring options. I have always used "auto", but that doesn't work anymore. I generally send all my different tracks of VSTs into a single Master Chain track, which is then routed to the Master Channel. Now if i don't set the Master Chain track to IN i can't hear anything, and it's really puzzling me (obviously all VSTs channels are routed to the Master Chain track, and everything sounds correctly the instant i set monitoring on the master chain to "in".

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

Vanni

Hi,
just to let you know -for potential future users- that i've finally got it sorted.

The problem was the following: my midi keyboard was connected to the MAC via a USB uno midi interface. Now, i had previously configured this input in the controller section of Live preferences as associated to a Mackie Control unit which i have. So, whenever signals came through this input, live was thinking that they were coming from the Mackie, and thus controlling the relevant parameters. Probably the pitch bend midi CC is associated to track #2 volume fader.

So...one problem is gone, the other not! Anyone can help with the monitoring prob?

Thanks a lot,

Vanni
