is there a event like NAMM going on this friday where they are releasing it? or is it just them? reason i ask is my girlfriend took me to a ableton workshop where a ableton sponsored artist was presenting.. audience was mainly people who are into music but just getting started with their home recording so most have not used Ableton.. she was giving out these green ableton coupons for discounts to everyone.. she said " you can use these to get ableton.. oh and they are releasing version 9 very soon"..

oh thanks for that friday song .. that sounds like songsmith or something as a joke.. but apparantly, she's blowing up so what do i know.. more power to her..

Novation sure is trying to compete in the market for all-in-one solutions for Traktor Pro (e.g. NI S4, Pioneer DDJ-T1, Allen&Heath Xone DX) and will release a cheaply built controller with integrated soundcard that will suffer from the usual Novation diseases.
