Hi guys, thought this info would be useful. A new malware or virus named Windows Simple Protector gets auto installed in the system. It shows some fake scan results and forces you to purchase the application. When this program is running, all other programs are closed and nothing can be accessed. Yeah caught this one myself. System resore did the trick. It also stuffed my virus software. I'd only just downloaded some loops off a cover disc before it happened. Not sure if connected though.
