Trigger Finger not reading in Live..WTH am i doing wrong?

For whatever reason, my m-audio Trigger Finger is not being detected by Live no matter how much I try to play with the preferences. ANy other midi device hooks up and gets signal to Live just like plug-n-play, but for some strange reason not TF. I know this has worked before and I am wondering if there is any kinda reset button I am overlooking? Weather in Live or on the TF unit itself.

driver for M-Audio Trigger Finger? ...for Mac? not that i know or dont know of :-/ i can try that...

i went to the M-Audio site and it says "This device is class compliant and does not require driver support for OS X"

Did you mention you're on a mac? Defect cable...? Tried through external power and midi..?
