Capture and Insert Scene -Can you maintain loop settings?

Post by fakemoney » Thu Mar 31, 2011 9:16 pm

Okay, maybe this is asking too much, but it would be awesome. I bounce things between Session and Arrange all the time and was wondering if there's a reliable way to transfer exactly what's happening in your Arrange loop to the captured/inserted Scene. Let's say you've got an 8-bar loop in Arrange that you want to send back to the Session view. If it's all MIDI, or all audio, it's not such a big deal to select the whole loop brace, Ctrl+J the whole thing, select all the clips and change clip loop to ON, then Ctrl+I to capture/insert. But in almost every real-life set, containing both MIDI and audio, this won't work. Anyone have a good workaround for this?
