To anyone thinking about getting an Echo Indigo DJ.....

I was getting a bit worried about my indigo, lots of problems reported here on the forum, all of which affected mine to start with..... crashing, ringing noise rather than your proper loop, waiting months to get one delivered into the country.
It turned out o be due to the ENE cardbus, which was easily ixed using an application you can download from www.echoaudio.com
Now it works like a dream, latency down to 6ms input and 5ms output, an unbelievably loud output, and the thing is tiny.
Nice work Echo!

...And I don't mind that at all. I appreciate it when people do a search on the forums rather than go and start new threads a dozen times. Kudos to aejaz!

Thanks! Hey, hows the Breaks scene going in Montreal? I lived there for a few years and love the place...

Check out a joint called the "Blue Dog" or it's neighbour, "Blizzarts". They both have pretty lively breaks, but only a few times a week.

I no longer live in Montreal, but I'm only two hours away in the nation's capital, Ottawa...

Ya know Brian, some of us are actually conservative. Believe it or not. He's just approved $16 Billion for our desperately underfunded military, and actually is sticking to his election promises. Harper's doing a way better job than any turd chewing, lying Liberal could do.

I gave $400 do the Conservative campaign last year, and will continue to do so until an alternative to the radically idiotic NDP, treasonous Bloc or criminally amoral Liberals comes up.

A bit off-topic here, but WHY ON EARTH does the canadian military need 16 Billion big ones?!!! The one thing that has made Canada such a great country in comparison to its war-mongering neighbour is the fact that it doesn't go around bullying the world with its military might on the basis of knee-jerk diplomacy.

Because without a well funded military (I clarify; a stable source of funding), Canada is TOTALLY 100% dependant on the US for our defence (NORAD, Maritime Patrol) as well as our overseas deployments. A well funded military allows Canada to act INDEPENDANTLY of US defence policy. With an impovrished military, we are esentially tied to our southern neighbour's defence policy by geographic default.

Also, for years the Canadian Forces have had no capital replacement of obsolete equipment. Essentially, we are sending airmen over the ocean in helicopters that have been in service since the 1950's that require 30 hours of maintenance for 1 hour of flying. We've lost a number of airmen because of this aircraft. I remember one episode where Jean Chretien (the slimiest sack of shit to ever lead a party in Canada), the same man who refused to pay for replacing these helicpoters refused to fly in one years later when he visited a ship at sea. It's not only helicopters, our current technological level of capability is severely backwards in a number of areas.

Canada has the longest coastline in the Arctic Ocean, but not a single military icebreaker. Sure, icebreakers exist for going up and counting Polar Bears, but we have no means of enforcing our sovriegnty.

Canada has the second largest geographic size of any country, and we don't have the strategic mobility to deploy troops across our own country without renting Russian transport aircraft. Imagine the shitstorm if there were an earthquake in Vancouver (which lies in an earthquake zone) and we had to get relief troops in to conduct rescue. We call Aeroflot and they tell us "sorry, our aircraft are rented for that week - maybe you can deploy your troops next earthquake Comrades?"

In short, we need 16 billion to repair institutionally inflicted damage, not increase capability.

Back on topic; Echo Indigo DJs are cool. I enjoy mine quite a bit.

;)
