So, the spaceship just landed, eh? :D

If you go back about a week in this forum, you can find all the other Operator commentary. I'm sure all the bile has not yet been spilled.

Operator offers a lot, look beyond the presets before you throw out the baby with the bathwater.

ok...

so..

In order to have operator working..I must uninstall 4.04..

then load 4.01 with operator..

what about my work on 4.04? will this "new" version of live open my last sessions??

or I have to re-build everything again?

??

no, you wont have to rebuild anything. every thing will be as it was except in your instrumments panel you will see a new instrument called operator.

operator is a demo until you buy it. if you try to load operator into a track you will be faced with a dialouge asking you if you want to switch to demo mode. demo mode will allow you to demo operator. once you switch to demo mode saving and exporting is disabled and you can not switch back during that set. so, if you are working on a track and decide you want to try out the operator demo be sure to save your work first.

other than that everything is the same.

Install, uninstall -
No problem with that as I see it. I'm running 4.0.4 and 4.1 side by side. The 4.1 is registred by auto as long as I dont activate the Operator.
I dont move anyting from the 4.0.4 content yet, instead when needed I point to the 4.0.4 content from within 4.1.
