MPD26 and APC20 Mapping Conflict

Hello! I've been working with Live for about a week now, along with an MPD26. Until today, I have had no issues that I couldn't solve myself. However, this one has me stumped.
I bought an Akai APC20 today ($50 new), and noticed some mapping overlaps with my MPD. For instance, if I map my pad bank A on my MPD to a 4x4 grid on Live, the activator button for Track 1 fails no longer serves its function. Instead, it plays the clip in Track 3, Scene 1.
I tried remapping the Activator key, and now it does indeed activate Track 1, in addition to playing the same clip as before. Furthermore, the Activator key on the pad stays unlit regardless of the software's status. This same problem is present on the two keys below this activator key (Solo/Cue and Record Arm) and the Master Fader.
Is there any quick and easy fix to this? The APC works fine without the MPD, and vice versa. I just want them to be able to play together nicely without any big hassle.
Thanks!
